Job summary

Oneconnect is seeking a highly analytical Specialist: Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) – M&A to join the team. The role conducts in-depth OSINT research, due diligence, and risk assessments to support mergers and acquisitions activities.

Responsibilities include gathering and validating information from public sources to identify risks, ownership structures, and potential reputational concerns for targets and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Honours degree or higher in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 10 years in Digital Forensics, Law Enforcement, Intelligence, Cyber Security or Financial Audit environment.
• Professional certifications in OSINT, intelligence analysis, fraud examination, or financial crime compliance are preferred.
• Experience conducting research on companies, individuals, and corporate structures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OSINT investigations on potential targets and stakeholders.
• Identify and analyse information from public sources including registries, filings, news, and social media.
• Develop profiles on individuals and entities relevant to M&A deals.
• Verify information credibility across sources and assess risks for transactions.
• Support due diligence by researching ownership structures and related-party relationships.
• Prepare OSINT reports and risk summaries with clear, evidence-based findings.
• Present findings to M&A, legal, and compliance teams and maintain documentation.
