Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is looking for an Organic Search Manager to own search for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will oversee the technical roadmap, content priorities, and ranking narrative, acting as the strategic voice in client discussions.

You will manage technical SEO, keyword strategy, AI-assisted drafting, and multi-location SEO, while reporting in GA4 & Search Console and guiding quarterly client roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.
• Fluency with GA4 and Search Console.
• Agency experience across multiple clients.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO including crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and architecture.
• Develop keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers and AI.
• Improve AI-assisted and classic organic results visibility.
• Manage links, local search, and multi-location SEO for clients.
• Produce client reports in GA4 and Search Console and craft quarterly roadmaps.

You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
