Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. On receipt of customer purchase order, process order confirmation of commercial term
  2. Email purchase order confirmation of commercial terms to the customer
  3. Place purchase order with product competency centre
  4. Confirm purchase order delivery date based on (materials, suppliers, PCC’s, internal capacity, etc.)
  5. Update purchase order confirmation to include confirmed delivery date
  6. Email purchase order confirmation with confirmed delivery date to customer
  7. Attach documents to SAP (customer email and purchase order confirmation)
  8. Update confirmed purchase order delivery date in SAP field
  9. Ensure timely release of orders and fulfillment of pre-established standards and policies to achieve customer satisfaction
  10. Monitor and resolve order issues and processing errors

What You Bring

  1. Degrees focused on Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration
  2. Professional experience of 1 to 2 years in purchasing and expediting
  3. Knowledge of SAP purchasing module
  4. Knowledge of Salesforce
  5. Effective communication and intercultural skills to blend in a multicultural and cross-regional working team
  6. Business fluent in English
