Job description

Orchard Agri Equipment: Dealer Sales Representative - Worcester

Department: Reports to: Orchard Agri Equipment, National Sales & Marketing, Worcester Office Manager

Purpose: As the Dealer Sales Representative, you will focus on developing dealer's product support capability, influencing dealer management, establishing business plans and follow-up, and assisting with execution as required while holding dealers accountable for achieving agreed goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop dealer's product support capability, influence management, establish business plans, and ensure follow-through to meet sales goals.
  2. Drive resolution of product and performance issues by enhancing dealer technical and customer support capabilities across South Africa.
  3. Utilize company tools to pre-empt and resolve technical or parts issues impacting machine uptime, performance, and customer experience.
  4. Uphold company policies related to warranty and reimbursement functions.
  5. Maintain current knowledge of all equipment features and benefits imported by the company.
  6. Monitor competitor activity and products, communicating findings to management promptly.
  7. Maintain dealer information within the assigned territory for effective sales management.
  8. Follow the defined sales process.
  9. Meet quarterly sales goals as established by the National Sales & Marketing Manager.
  10. Assist in the preparation and execution of dealer and national events, such as Nampo Bothaville and Nampo Cape.
  11. Conduct new equipment demonstrations in coordination with dealers.
Skills:
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, with high energy levels.
  • Thorough in task completion.
  • At least 5+ years of agricultural equipment sales experience.
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming or operational practices.
  • Effective communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and travel frequently.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
  • Relevant agricultural diploma or work experience.
