Job summary

iMedrecruit is seeking an experienced Oral Hygienist for our orthodontic practice in Rondebosch, Cape Town. The candidate will deliver high quality patient care, manage an independent treatment chair when required, and support orthodontic procedures in a fast-paced specialist environment.

Requirements include HPCSA registration, 3–5 years' experience (orthodontic experience preferred), and fluency in English and Afrikaans.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the HPCSA.
• 3–5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Orthodontic practice experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage own chair advantageous.
• Proficient in English and Afrikaans.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral hygiene treatments and preventative care to patients.
• Manage an independent treatment chair where appropriate.
• Assist with orthodontic procedures and patient preparation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and sterilisation protocols.

• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and care.

An established Orthodontic practice in Rondebosch, Cape Town is seeking to recruit an experienced Oral Hygienist.
