Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate for a 12 month contract. This role is within the infrastructure and data management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our Oracle database environments while ensuring robust and seamless data replication across systems.

Remote (Onsite once a week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, support, and maintain Oracle databases (versions 11g, 12c, 19c, or higher).
• Implement and manage Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication and high availability solutions.
• Support large-scale database migration, replication, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Configure and monitor GoldenGate for data synchronization across multiple environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance, capacity, and security issues.
• Work with development and application teams to optimize SQL queries and database performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in production environments.
• Strong experience in Oracle GoldenGate installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in database security, patching, and upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL development and tuning.

Desirable / Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with cloud-based Oracle deployments (AWS, Azure, or OCI).
• Knowledge of Oracle Exadata or Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Experience in multi-database platform environments (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).

Qualifications:
