Job summary

Pathfinders Consulting Pty (LTD) in Cape Town seeks a Head of Operations to build its organisational engine, scaling delivery of high-end consulting work while maintaining quality and governance.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will own the five connected accountabilities: people, delivery, commercial operations, firm operations, and the AI transition, to ensure execution aligns with strategy in a hybrid workplace.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in boutique strategy or economic consulting.
• Experience as Senior Manager or Head of Consulting Operations.
• Proven track record in change management and building scalable operations.
• Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead AI-enabled organisational transitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead people system, delivery discipline, and commercial machinery for the firm.
• Own operating rhythm and management reporting.
• Coordinate day-to-day people management and problem-solving for the MD.
• Drive AI-transition work with the technology lead.
• Ensure high-quality output and scalable processes.
