Operator, Warehouse

Purpose

The Operator, Warehouse (Receiving Admin), is responsible for packaging, storing, and transporting raw materials, trade goods, and finished products. Tasks include managing stock accurately and safely shipping products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Loading and unloading trucks (raw materials, finished goods, & containers)
2. Accurate labeling of raw materials, finished goods, & containers
3. GR all materials within 24 hours; action any discrepancies
4. Ensure inventory control accuracy
5. Provide forklift daily maintenance services when necessary
6. Material handling of raw materials, packaging materials, & finished goods
7. Complete in-process records of operations
8. Comply with hygiene, safety, and environmental regulations
9. Adhere to quality and safety standards (Good Manufacturing Practices)
10. Collect samples and send them to QC
11. Daily reconciliation of dispatch and receiving processes
12. Coordinate schedules effectively
13. Inform field units about orders
14. Track and update call logs and data in SAP
15. Provide reports to upper management
16. Comply with food safety regulatory and statutory requirements and foster a food safety culture within the company
17. Ensure compliance with standards and specifications of the company and country regulations
18. Ensure precise "Putaway" during receiving, picking, returns, and dispatching, following FIFO and daily housekeeping standards

We value:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Grade 12 or equivalent; relevant experience considered if qualifications are lacking
• At least 2 years of experience in Receiving Admin
• Knowledge related to specific tasks and emergency plans awareness
• Task-based risk assessment knowledge
• Forklift driving license
• Knowledge of food safety topics: GMP, FSSC, Food Defense, Food Safety
• Knowledge of international standards: ISO, OHSAS
