A retail hardware supplier in Cape Town is seeking a Customer Service Operator to load customer vehicles and assist with stock management. The ideal candidate will have customer service skills, experience operating machinery, and knowledge of building materials. Successful candidates will help maintain an efficient and tidy work environment, contributing to customer satisfaction and store success.
The purpose of this job is to deliver exceptional customer service in such a manner that external and internal customers are satisfied, including all customers, delivery and transfer drivers. This is accomplished by friendly service and accurate loading of all customers’ products purchased, ensuring that the Yard runs efficiently by loading with the forklift or front-end loader so that no losses of stock or dissatisfied customers occur in order to have customers return to the store increasing sales and profit margins.
