Job description

This international entity, based in Sasolburg, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Team Leader to join their esteemed team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual looking to make a significant impact in a leading global organisation. The suitable candidate will be responsible but not limited to allocating appropriate cranes to clients, site visits, scheduling of transport for staff members, etc. First Line Management or Supervisory qualification is essential.

POSITION INFO :

Minimum Requirements :

  1. Grade 12 or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within a similar role.
  3. Operations or Business Management qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities :

  1. Allocating appropriate cranes and crews for the relevant job and client’s requirements.
  2. Ensuring the delivery of positive customer experience.
  3. Supporting Sales Representatives in conducting site surveys.
  4. Scheduling transportation of staff, counterweights, outrigger pads, etc.
  5. Ensuring all applicable road permits are obtained before the job commences.
  6. Ensuring good housekeeping in the office and yard areas.
  7. Conducting site visits and reporting on all defects.
  8. Assessing staff training requirements and securing ongoing training.
  9. Assisting with keeping relevant certification files up to date in conjunction with the Officer.
  10. Ensuring that the branch implements SHE protocols.
  11. Approval of Service Providers as required.
