Job summary

TIH in Johannesburg seeks a skilled Operations Supervisor to lead a team within established operational systems. You will monitor performance, ensure timely delivery, and uphold quality standards across daily activities.

You will drive compliance, communicate policy updates, and contribute to analytics and reporting. The role requires strong leadership, customer service focus, and experience in CRM-enabled environments.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
• FAIS recognised qualification (Advantageous)
• Relevant 3 year business or insurance industry related degree/diploma in management (Advantageous)
• STI Qualification (Advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Supervise team within established operational systems.
• Conduct daily huddles to monitor and review operational performance against the plan with the team.
• Ensure team members execute work on time in accordance with quality standards; communicate updates to team.
• Identify non-compliance with policies and procedures and rectify variances; escalate issues as appropriate.
• Explain action plans to support team understanding and motivate them to achieve goals.
• Contribute to data and analytics reports; submit team data for management control.
• Assign short-term work schedules and manage capacity to meet requirements.
• Develop and propose performance objectives; conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
• Monitor CRM usage; resolve standard issues and escalate to senior management as needed.
• Help senior colleagues manage customer relationships using relevant operational systems.
• Assist in achieving targets related to productivity and turnaround times.
