Job description

This in-person role demands strong operational oversight and a proactive sales approach. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and be comfortable working extended hours to meet business demands.

Key Responsibilities :

Operations Management :

  • Oversee daily logistics operations, including freight, warehousing, and dispatch coordination.
  • Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring SLA compliance and continuous performance improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and mentor operations staff, promoting a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships to expand the customer base.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and service terms with clients.
  • Maintain strong after-sales support and ongoing client engagement.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport operations, with a proven track record in sales and team management.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics workflows, freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and deliver in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in MS Office; experience with logistics management software is a plus.
  • Willingness to work long hours and be available after hours if operational needs arise.
