A leading company in Springs is seeking an Operations & Production Supervisor to oversee production processes and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate must have at least five years of experience, along with a T3 or N5 qualification, and be hands-on in their approach to operations. Responsibilities include managing production inputs, supervising staff, and maintaining high food safety standards.
Operations & Production Supervisor - Springs Operations & Production Supervisor Qualification Matric and at least a T3 or N5 qualification Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in the production environment including operations, maintenance, food safety, procurement and health & safety Must be technically orientated and qualified and a hands-on person Automated extrusion plant requires basic knowledge of PLC inputs Must have a good understanding of MS Excel Experience in overseeing raw material stock levels considering lead times ito raw materials, finished goods Good knowledge of the OHSAct and Regulations, safety and environmental management Must accept appointments as GMR2.1 responsible person in charge of the safe operation of machinery Fluent in speaking English and Afrikaans Duties Planning and procurement of production related inputs Introducing and managing operational processes for optimum production outputs Product quality control and management Maintaining GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standards Supervising of production staff Supervising and maintenance of production assets Supervising of sales related documentation and dispatch of goods sold Supervising of all safety protocols and elements Handling of staff disciplinary processes Internal logistics including schedule pick-ups, drop offs, maintenance of company vehicles External logistics including obtaining quotes, dealing with delays and all other related issues Coordinate with marketing and wet demo team in the field Manage Youth Program candidates and all related issues For more information please contact : Leonie Ashton
