Placements24 is seeking an experienced Operations Project Manager to optimize business processes and drive efficiency in Richards Bay. You will lead cross-functional projects, develop detailed plans, and monitor progress to deliver tangible cost reductions and productivity gains.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in operations management or business administration, 5+ years in operations or PM, and proficiency with Lean/Six Sigma, data analysis, and project management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management or a related project management role.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on improving operational efficiency, productivity, and quality across various departments.
• Analyze current operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-driven solutions.
• Develop and implement project plans for operational changes, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Collaborate with operations managers and staff to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational improvements to management.
• Facilitate training sessions and provide support to teams impacted by operational changes.
