We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead our Transmission Maintenance and Aerial Services team—a key group within Enerven that ensures the safe, efficient and reliable operation of critical transmission assets.

About The Role

You’ll be responsible for leading a skilled team of Transmission Powerline Workers, Asset Inspection Officers, and our Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) team. Your primary focus will be safety—ensuring every project is delivered without compromise to the wellbeing of your team.

With a commercial mindset and a focus on excellence, you’ll oversee the delivery of maintenance services primarily on the ElectraNet network, along with a diverse mix of clients in the utilities, mining and rail sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and efficient maintenance programs for transmission assets in line with approved practices
• Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative and safety-driven team culture
• Oversee development of detailed work plans and resource schedules
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety and environmental requirements
• Apply sound financial oversight to manage budgets and maximise profitability
• Lead critical defect management responses and client communications
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support growth

About You

You are a confident, commercially minded leader with a strong background in transmission maintenance. You combine technical capability with emotional intelligence, allowing you to build trust quickly—with your team, clients and stakeholders.

• Proven leadership experience in high-voltage transmission maintenance
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, work practices and compliance
