Operations Manager : Rehabilitation Hospitals

We operate primary care medical and dental centres, day hospitals, and rehabilitation hospitals across South Africa.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Operations Manager: Rehabilitation Hospitals to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient management, compliance, and strategic execution of our rehabilitation hospital operations.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

1. Develop, implement, and manage operational strategies to drive efficiency and standardisation.
2. Lead hospital teams, ensuring effective staff development and performance management.
3. Monitor financial and operational performance to achieve business objectives.
4. Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DOH), Department of Labour (DOL), and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS 16.2 A) requirements.
5. Foster relationships with medical professionals to drive brand loyalty and patient referrals.
6. Oversee patient experience, handling escalated complaints and ensuring high service standards.
7. Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment with business goals.
8. Drive and oversee key strategic projects and hospital performance initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Diploma in General Nursing / BCur Degree or any other relevant qualification.

Registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years' management experience, preferably in a physical rehabilitation or medical environment.

Competencies: Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Other: Own transport, willingness to travel frequently between hospitals, and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
