Job description

• Lead and manage daily operations for petroleum cross-border logistics, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
• Draft relevant policies for the department, assist recruit and develop staff to grow in line with the strategy.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
• Work closely with other departments, including SHEQ, HR, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
• Leverage logistics software and technology to streamline operations and enhance visibility across the supply chain.
• You will have a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, Transport Management, Business Management or related
• At least 8 years' experience in a senior position within the logistics industry
• Regional (SADC) exposure is essential
• In-depth understanding of petroleum transportation, cross-border logistics.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong customer centricity and relationship building skills.
