Une entreprise leader dans le secteur manufacturier en Afrique du Sud recherche un responsable de production pour organiser et superviser la fabrication de produits en acier électromécaniques. Vous serez responsable de la qualité et du respect des délais, ainsi que de la gestion d'une équipe composée de 95 personnes. Purpose of Position: To organise and oversee the design and manufacture of a wide range of electromechanical steel products. Ultimately responsible for the smooth running of production and the quality of output to schedule and budget. Must have in-depth...

Requirements:

  1. An official technical qualification (trade would also suffice, e.g., millwright)
  2. Proven experience in production management, ideally from within the Steel industry, and hands-on experience in production.
  3. Experience in design for customer-specific product applications and product development.
  4. Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  5. Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9000 and SABS requirements.
  6. Knowledge of legal aspects relating to Labour, Manufacturing, and Design.
  7. Knowledge of performance evaluation.
  8. Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
  9. Ability to identify problems and implement preventative strategies to minimise risk.
  10. Must be hands-on and capable of managing a team of approximately 95 staff members.
  11. Ability to work well with different departments and external suppliers/clients.
  12. Result-oriented and deadline-driven.
  13. Outstanding communication skills.
  14. Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  15. Experience in HR management and recruitment within a functional operational role.
  16. Willingness to be flexible to meet business needs.
  17. Attention to detail.
  18. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
  19. Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of ERP and manufacturing systems.
