Job summary

CJ Staffing (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Lead to oversee daily production, manufacturing, and dispatch to meet targets. The role requires ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO) while optimizing raw material procurement and inventory control.

You will manage budgets, control costs, drive continuous improvement, and mentor production teams and supervisors to achieve operational excellence across the site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production, manufacturing, and dispatch operations to achieve production targets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (including HACCP, GMP, and ISO).
• Manage raw material procurement, inventory control, warehouse operations, and supplier relationships.
• Take ownership of operational budgets, site profitability, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop production teams, supervisors, and technical staff to achieve operational excellence.
