Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems to ensure client service level agreements are adhered to at all times.
- Establish and maintain relationships with client contact persons and account managers.
- Establish and monitor cleaning plans for each building in accordance with service level agreements.
- Conduct site visits to allocated sites, reporting on activities, results, and recommendations.
- Manage the delivery of cleaning chemicals and consumables to sites.
- Manage the availability and condition of site equipment.
- Oversee the startup process of new contracts, including staff recruitment, induction, and work schedules.
- Control and manage company assets, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements.
- Manage area performance against targets and budgets, adhering to policies and standards.
- Manage expenses and overheads to ensure profitable performance.
- Achieve monthly non-contractual revenue targets, maintain existing customer relationships, and pursue upselling opportunities.
- Manage staff reporting to this position, including recruitment, training, evaluation, motivation, delegation, and activity monitoring.
- Handle industrial relations and staff scheduling, including monitoring time, attendance, leave, and overtime.
- Implement and evaluate cleaner work schedules and performance.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and core values.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
- Business Management or related qualification
- 35 years of experience as an Operations Manager or similar role
- Experience in the cleaning industry is advantageous
- Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Clear criminal record
- Valid driver’s license and own transport

- Experience in management, process improvement, and leadership
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, and Warehouse Management System
- Analysis skills and operational management expertise
