Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Partner with the team and utilize strong leadership to develop and implement objectives, goals, strategies, and measures to meet or surpass performance targets in safety, quality, reliability, cost, service, staffing, and engagement. Support Linkage into the strategic agenda, including capital, loss analysis, people development, workforce planning, change management, and Employee Relations strategy.
  2. Foster a culture of total employee ownership by managing systems that promote empowerment and engagement, encouraging active participation in learning and continuous improvement. This includes building workforce capability through employee development, coaching in behaviors and competencies, and managing review processes. Involvement in JTE promotions is also included.
  3. Utilize TPM methodologies, systems, and tools to establish and maintain continuous improvement processes that maximize employee capabilities and contributions, enhancing productivity, reliability, costs, quality, and safety.
  4. Develop, collaborate, and maintain strong cross-functional relationships (e.g., R&D, Commercial) to eliminate loss and enable growth. Ensure new and existing products are manufactured on time, meet specifications, and align with customer demand, working closely with key vendors on materials and products.
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in production/operations roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading multiple teams or departments, including direct and indirect reports.
  • Proven ability to achieve project goals through planning, organizing, and resource management.
  • Management and prioritization of Leading Indicators for Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality compliance.
  • Experience in TPM environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), manufacturing methods, and equipment.
  • Experience in the food and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry preferred.
  • FDA/GMP knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to influence change initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Innovation Strategies, Product Lifecycle Management, Packaging, and Go-To-Market Strategies, with the ability to adjust operationally to support organizational performance.
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and developing people.
