Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations, product assessment, repairs, and finished goods repacking within a growing business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and continuously improving processes across all assessment, repair, warehousing, and fulfilment functions.

Key Responsibilities

Process Optimisation

1. Define, design, and regularly review detailed SOPs, workflow processes, quality controls, and performance measurement systems.
2. Develop and enhance control systems to minimise costs, eliminate waste, and mitigate risks in a high-value environment.

Capacity Planning & Performance Measurement

1. Develop and implement capacity plans to support current and future market demand.
2. Set and track clear weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance targets.
3. Support technical and administrative operations by optimising processes and increasing throughput.

Process Management

1. Oversee and refine operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and adaptability.
2. Proactively manage bottlenecks and constraints.
3. Identify risks and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
4. Continuously assess and evolve operational capabilities, capacity, and resources in line with business growth.

Logistics & Resource Management

1. Manage logistics operations and the procurement of essential components.
2. Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, and cost analyses.
3. Oversee the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.

Team Leadership

1. Lead and support warehouse, administrative, and technical teams in a high-paced environment.
2. Foster a culture of high performance and accountability among team members.

Qualifications & Experience

1. A qualification in Business Operations, Logistics, or Engineering.
2. 5+ years of relevant experience in warehouse management, production, technical operations, or process optimisation.
