Job description

JHB. We have two vacant positions for Operations Managers at our Robertville Branch (Johannesburg).

The overall purpose of the position is to ensure that all site-specific security requirements are adhered to and that the Client's needs are always efficiently and professionally met (as per the SLA).

Responsibilities include:

  • Posting Security Officers and managing all operations in a timely and effective manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
  • PSIRA Grade A / B registered and accredited, up to date.
  • No Criminal Record or pending cases.
  • Valid driver's license with own reliable transport.
  • Minimum 2 - 5 years' Site Supervisory or Management experience.
  • Staff Management experience essential.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Must reside in the greater Johannesburg area or be willing to relocate at own cost.

Key Performance Areas include:

  • Maintaining good relations with clients regarding security services rendered.
  • Daily feedback and liaison with Fidelity Security Services Management and Clients.
  • Reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly activities, incidents, accidents, and investigations.
  • Obtaining statements for investigations.
  • Ensuring timely posting of Security Officers for full site coverage on day and night shifts, as per SLA.
  • Ensuring Security Officers meet contractual requirements.
  • Disciplining staff as needed.
  • Attending CCMA and Labour Court when required.
  • Evaluating service levels and recommending improvements.
  • Assessing premises for security risks and implementing barriers.
  • Auditing access registers daily and generating reports.

  • Experience in investigation techniques and report writing.
  • Willingness to work extended or flexible hours.
