A leading South African company in category management software seeks an Operations Manager. In this role, you will oversee contract implementations, grow customer accounts, and ensure client satisfaction, requiring strong client relationship skills and substantial management experience. Reporting to our head of operations, the role of the Operations Manager is to oversee contract implementation, grow accounts, gain new customers, gain customer buy-in for upcoming innovation projects and own talent at line management level.
Additional focus is also given to the fields of Human Resource Management, Customer Relationship Management, Project Management and Change Management.
The role further requires the optimising of individual and team performance associated with Account Managers.
Role purpose The fundamental purpose of the Operations Manager role is to expand account loyalty, investment and advocacy by delivering measurable impact, an unparalleled service experience and world-class advice to clients.
List of specific duties Oversee the implementation of contracts;Grow existing customer accounts;Acquire new customer accounts;Gain customer buy-in for upcoming innovation projects;Own talent at line management level with the support of HR.Minimum Requirements A relevant B-Degree (M) and a post-graduate degree (M) will be advantageous.Relevant business, sales and staff management experience, preferably within a retail environment at a minimum of 3 years.Category management industry experience would be advantageous;Good understanding of English (speak, read and write at a business proficiency level);A high degree of client engagement;Remain attentive in an often busy environment;Versatile;Excellent client relationship-building skills;Good knowledge of the Google Suite for business.Training and support We want you to be successful in this role, therefore, we will be investing in you in the form of : Mentorship;Sales training;Operations training;Hubspot certifications;External studies as appropriate.Here's what you can expect from DotActiv when joining the team as an Operations Manager :
