An established industry player is seeking a dynamic operations manager to oversee branch activities and ensure optimal cost management. In this role, you will maintain vital relationships with service providers and customers while driving performance management and achieving production targets. Ensure the smooth operation of the designated branch, maintaining existing relationships with service providers and customers, and sourcing new, cost-effective service providers that meet group standards.
Achieve monthly production targets and keep salary costs within budget, minimizing overtime.
Optimize the Cost of Sales (COS%) on each job and ensure 100% accuracy in final costings, including additional charges.
Meet daily conversion targets and achieve the targeted COS% on tow-ins per quote and on a weighted monthly basis.
Prepare profitable, accurate, and complete quotes that optimize labor and minimize additional charges.
Ensure assessments are conducted correctly to minimize costs.
Identify new insurance companies and broker networks to enhance services, benefits, and value-added initiatives for all parties.
Ensure workload targets for all branches are met.
Ensure that the group and its managed repair facilities (MBRs) receive an adequate share of authorized repair work from insurers and brokers.
Maintain the quality of work according to manufacturer standards.
Adhere to health and safety measures at all times.
Maintain and service company equipment and machinery regularly.
Ensure all files contain the necessary documentation to comply with insurer and manufacturer audits.
Adhere to group and insurer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in final costings and quotations.
Follow special instructions from clients or insurers.
Maintain proficiency in all industry and company quoting procedures.
Stay updated on changes in insurance requirements, protocols, legislation, and new developments in the industry.
Respond to escalations within 24 hours.
Facilitate communication and prioritize resolution of repair issues between parties.
Initiate ongoing contact with insurers, brokers, and manufacturers to evaluate their expectations and ability to meet client service deliverables.
Ensure group benchmark CSI targets are met.
Work with HR to recruit competent, high-performance staff and contribute to developing an enabling culture and high staff retention through mentoring.
Drive performance management throughout the year.
Provide training and development to ensure succession planning and conduct annual performance appraisals.
