Port Operations Manager
This position is primarily responsible for the dredging work and related business coordination after ships arrive at the port. It requires maintaining good relationships with ports and terminals to ensure the smooth progress of ship operations, improve operational efficiency, and promote the achievement of the company's business goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Take charge of the overall coordination of dredging work after ships arrive at the port, formulate reasonable dredging plans, and ensure that ships are unloaded, loaded, and leave the port in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain close and good cooperative relationships with relevant departments of ports and terminals, conduct regular communication and visits, and handle various problems and disputes that may arise during the cooperation process.
- Keep abreast of the operation dynamics, policies and regulations of ports and terminals, and provide timely feedback to the company\'s relevant departments to assist in making scientific business decisions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the smooth connection of various links in the ship operation process.
- Collect and sort out information related to port and terminal business, analyze market trends, and put forward suggestions for optimizing the company\'s business strategies.
- Complete other related work assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree or above, major in international trade, logistics management, maritime transportation or related fields is preferred.
- More than 5 years of working experience in relevant fields such as port and shipping, with rich experience in dredging work coordination.
- Familiar with the operation processes, rules and regulations of ports and terminals, and have in-depth understanding of the industry.
- Possess excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills, and be good at maintaining relationships with ports and terminals.
- Have strong sense of responsibility, execution ability and problem-solving ability.
- Be able to work under pressure and adapt to irregular work schedules.
