About the client: Our client is a young financial consultancy based in Canada, specializing in helping small businesses and startups secure government grants and loans. They excel in navigating complex government tenders, assisting clients in optimizing resources and identifying growth opportunities through strategic financial solutions.

About the role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations & Grants Manager to work closely with the CEO and senior team members. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of ownership, attention to detail, and curiosity. Responsibilities include defining and documenting SOPs, assisting in operational activities, coordinating with the CEO, managing grants and tenders, and supporting financial and administrative tasks.

Qualifications: 4-5 years in operations or administrative roles within financial or consulting environments. Educational background in Chartered Accountancy (CA) and/or MBA. Proficiency in HubSpot CRM, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills, experience in proposal writing, grants, tenders, and basic marketing knowledge. Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the CEO to define SOPs and assist in daily operational tasks.
  • Manage client database and generate reports on pipeline and progress.
  • Handle invoicing, financial administrative tasks, and maintain organized databases.
