MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

TTo provide leadership, strategic direction and support to hospitals within the region to enhance market share and improve operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Lead and manage the people within the region.

Set and provide strategic direction for the region.

Drive optimisation and growth of business within the region.

Manage operational efficiency across hospitals within the region.

Facilitate implementation of initiatives to integrate health service delivery across the continuum of care.

Manage doctor engagement and relations.

Manage key account and stakeholder relations.

Oversee Patient Safety and Client Experience

Manage and control regional budgets / finances.

Manage and mitigate regional risks.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree

DESIRED EDUCATION

Degree in Financial or Business Administration

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years demonstrated senior management experience within the healthcare industry, overseeing multiple functional teams or business units

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Acute hospital management experience in the private healthcare sector
