Principal Accountabilities
- To provide a professional, accurate, effective monitoring service and to co-ordinate with the operations departments, all applicable Brinks stations and sub-contractors.
- To ensure integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained is secure at all times by strict compliance and in accordance to the Security and Operational procedures and code of practice.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and secure delivery. (imports & exports)
- Monitor shipments, track deliveries, and manage logistics documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange pick-ups and deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and security protocols in all logistics operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities, including shipment details, compliance documentation, POD’s, shipment planning sheet as well as shipment calendar.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding logistics inquiries, updates, and issue resolution.
- Address and resolve any logistics-related issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate and timely updates to customers on shipment status and delivery schedules.
- Manage relationships with subcontractors and logistics service providers.
- Evaluate the performance of logistics vendors and suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and service standards.
- Utilize logistics management tools to track and manage shipments and other logistics data.
- Capture estimates and process vendor invoice in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity in all logistics systems and databases.
- Work closely with operations, security, sales, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing clear instructions and updates on logistics activities.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects aimed at improving overall operational efficiency.
- Preparation of notifications to clients and sub-contractors regarding shipping arrangements.
- Query resolution & client liaison
- Monitoring of sub-contractor costs and application thereof
- Maintaining client database, office support and admin functions.
- Performing related duties as assigned from time to time.

Knowledge & Experience:
- Driver’s license
- Matric
- Fluent in verbal and written French and English
- High Level of computer literacy such as MS Office
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, operations, or related roles
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Skills in data entry with high levels of accuracy
- Proficiency in logistics management software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Knowledge of secure logistics or related industry
