This is an ideal role for someone with strong operational experience, leadership ability, and a practical understanding of mechanical systems related to fuel handling and logistics.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operational Oversight : Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient fuel distribution and supply chain continuity.
  • Team Supervision : Help manage and develop a team of operations staff, providing training, support, and supervision to drive performance.
  • Inventory Management : Monitor fuel and lubricant stock levels, liaise with suppliers for timely restocking, and avoid supply disruptions.
  • Quality Control : Enforce rigorous quality and safety standards to comply with industry and company regulations.
  • Process Improvement : Identify areas for operational improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency within the distribution network.
  • Customer Relations : Build and maintain strong client relationships, promptly addressing issues and ensuring service satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis : Contribute to the preparation of operational reports, analyze key performance indicators, and support informed decision-making.
  • Safety and Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across operations.
  • Crisis Management : Assist in preparing and executing contingency plans to ensure operational continuity during disruptions.
