What are we looking for?

We are seeking an Operations Assistant to handle a variety of tasks to support the manufacturing and production processes.

What do we expect from the candidate?

The candidate will ensure smooth operations and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

The key responsibilities:

• Formulating products.
• Manufacturing plant operations.
• Weighing materials.
• Product filling.
• Tracking raw material stores activities.
• Effluent treatment and handling.
• Wearing required PPE as specified in product batch sheets and the RAIMS.
• Being accountable for own basic discipline, following instructions, timekeeping, and adhering to all company procedures including safety, manufacturing, site, and quality control regulations and procedures.
• Reporting all safety accidents and incidents, near misses, and any other abnormal observations and/or events to the Team Leader immediately (or as soon as practically possible after occurrence).
• This role requires flexibility, including the possibility of overtime, and must be willing to work rotational 12-hour shifts.

If you possess…

Must-Have:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• 4 – 6 months working experience within the chemical industry.
• Must be physically fit.
