Our client is aleader in the renewable energy industry. They areseeking a dedicated Operations & Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of solar PV systems. The role involves system monitoring, fault analysis, and coordinating both preventive and corrective maintenance to meet technical standards and client expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• System Monitoring & Performance Analysis
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance and maintenance reports.
• Ensure systems comply with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
• Liaise with clients, OEMs, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• 2+ years’ experience in solar PV or renewable energy systems (O&M experience preferred).

• Strong understanding of PV system components (inverters, transformers, string combiners, etc.).

Package & Remuneration

R 30 000 - R 50 000 ctc per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
