Job Purpose

As a key member of the Integrated Control Tower, you will lead the development and enhancement of KPI measurement tools, monitor partnerships with Principals, and provide data analytics solutions that support informed decision-making. You will leverage emerging technologies such as machine learning, AI, and RPA to foster sustainable growth at Vector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Continuous Business Improvement Initiatives
   • Identify improvement opportunities with business users and develop Use Cases.
   • Support evaluation of Use Cases through Cost-Benefit analysis.
   • Develop value-add metrics, reports, and processes for business intelligence.
2. Develop and Monitor Operational Solutions
   • Lead cross-functional data and visualization projects.
   • Coordinate with business functions to ensure visibility and effective change implementation.
   • Analyze operational trends and propose corrective actions.
   • Prepare and distribute monthly operation reports.
   • Support value-add initiatives and ad hoc data requests from senior management.
   • Maintain owner-driver data reporting.
3. Provide Support and Training
   • Support operational excellence journeys within Vector Logistics.
   • Collaborate with the learning team to upskill staff in Power BI.
   • Assist leadership with quick data insights and problem resolution.
4. Develop Technical Expertise
   • Build specialized knowledge of relevant analytics technologies.

Key Relationships

Internal: Executive teams, business functions, finance, control tower, HR, and IT teams.

External: Customers, suppliers, and technology partners.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, mathematics/statistics; postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• 3-5 years’ experience in data and analytics, with proven project success.
• Experience in food manufacturing, consumer, or supply chain industries is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

• Business principles, processes, and analytics methodologies.
• Systems development life cycle, data modeling, AI, machine learning, RPA.
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, SAP R/3 & BW, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong planning, organization, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
