Job description

IT Operations Administrator required in Johannesburg.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Administrator to support the day-to-day operational processes within the business.

This multifaceted role requires a combination of administrative expertise, IT awareness, and a strong service-driven mindset.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels.

You must have Matric and experience using Syspro and intermediate level knowledge of Excel.

Salary: R15K – R16K Basic.

Type: Permanent – Onsite.

Area: Midrand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PerformSyspro processing tasks, including:
    • Credit notes
    • Sales orders
    • Stock receipts and returns
    • Stock adjustments
    • Monthly statements
  • Daily reporting and tracking of:
    • Sales figures
    • Adjustments
    • Trip sheets and related documentation
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems
  • Providebasic hardware/software supportto internal users
  • Support the logistics function with general coordination tasks
  • Liaise professionally with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks related to operations and administration as needed

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) – further administrative or IT-related qualifications will be advantageous
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative or operations support role
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate level essential)
  • Prior experience using Syspro ERP system is highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with basic IT troubleshooting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Confident engaging with colleagues at all levels of seniority
