HotelJobs in Mossel Bay seeks a seasoned Head of Finance to manage the full operational finance function across the lodge. You will oversee monthly accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, and influence commercial decisions.

The role requires strong controls, audit readiness, and collaboration with lodge management. Residency in Mossel Bay and ability to report directly to the CEO are essential; lodge/hospitality finance experience preferred but not essential.

Competenze

• A relevant finance or accounting qualification will be advantageous.
• Previous lodge, hotel or hospitality finance experience is preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience managing an operational finance function is essential.

Mansioni

• Manage the full operational finance function and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, forecasts and cash-flow reports for the CEO.

• Support the CEO with financial analysis, business planning and informed commercial decisions.
• Protect confidential financial and business information at all times.

Job Description & Requirements:

• Previous lodge, hotel or hospitality finance experience is preferred but not essential.
• Experience working in a multi-departmental or operational business environment will be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity, organisation and deadline management.
• Confident communicator with the ability to explain financial information clearly to operational stakeholders.
• Proactive; accountable and able to work independently in a senior position.
