Job description

Are you a dynamic and experienced Operational Financial Manager looking for your next challenge? This role combines operational finance responsibilities with involvement in special projects. This is an opportunity to make a real impact while advancing your career in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Duties:
  1. Conduct cost analysis and manage financial performance across regional branches.
  2. Lead a new department, overseeing regional cost accountants, service and parts managers, and a team of 16 inventory controllers.
  3. Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
  4. Engage with various stakeholders, from wash bay staff and branch managers to the COO.
  5. Travel to branches when required to ensure alignment and provide financial support.
  6. Support strategic initiatives through detailed financial analysis and recommendations.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
  1. Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • BCom Accounting
  • Fully Qualified CA(SA)
  • Experience:
    • 4-6 years of post-articles experience if a CA(SA)
    • Completed Articles at the Big 4 firms
    • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on cost management and financial analysis.
    • Proven ability to build rapport across all organisational levels.
    • Experience beyond audit roles.
    • Leadership and management skills required.
