A leading emergency medical service provider in Gauteng is seeking an Emergency Care Practitioner to deliver excellent critical care and ensure operational readiness for emergency calls. The ideal candidate will have a Btech in Emergency Medical Care, along with operational EMS experience, and will be proficient in English. The role involves administering patient care and maintaining the public image of the organization.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified ECP / Operational EMS experience is needed.
• Successful completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines is advantageous.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To deliver excellent critical care within the operational environment based on sound clinical judgment, current evidence, and to display clinical leadership with ER24.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Oversee and ensure operational readiness for emergency calls

Administer patient care in line with scope of practice

Market and maintain a positive public image for ER24

Provide basic shift administration services

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION : Bachelors of Technology (Btech) Emergency Medical Care or Bachelor Emergency Medical Care

DESIRED EDUCATION : Successful completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines published by the Health Professions Council of South Africa will be advantageous. If not compliant with the clinical practice guidelines at the time of application you will be required to complete this training during your probation period if successful in your application.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : Newly qualified ECP / Operational EMS experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE : Previous EMS Operational experience
