MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To function as a scrub practitioner and circulator under the indirect supervision of a professional nurse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  1. Deliver safe quality patient care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
  2. Ensure effective peri-operative preparation for an allocated Theatre list.
  3. Adhere to infection prevention and control principles in order to mitigate clinical risks.
  4. Ensure optimal utilisation of equipment and pharmaceutical stock to minimize financial risks.
