ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an Onsite Traka Technician in Gauteng. The role involves installation, configuration, and maintenance of Traka systems, with responsible on-site customer support and documentation. Shift work includes mornings and nights, and great communication with stakeholders is essential.

Experience with low voltage systems, networking basics, and basic electrical tools will help drive productive outcomes and client satisfaction on our projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a low voltage technician or similar role.
• Experience with LAN/WAN networks and computer systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Mining/underground work experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace Traka equipment and peripherals.
• Setup, test and configure Traka hardware and software.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation.
• Provide on-site customer support and communication.
• Read repair manuals and coordinate with professionals.
• Perform tests and inspections and report results.
• Carry out after-hours support when required.
• Operate basic electrical reticulation safely.
