COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a multi-vendor, value-added solutions provider with branches in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town offering Managed IT Services. They are looking for an Onsite Support Technician to join their team. This position will be based in Kempton Park.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • To support ESSN – Enterprise software, servers, storage and networking products to existing and potential clients.
  • To support SLA’s to existing and potential clients.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide telephone, face to face and online support to the client
  • Client liaison and communication to assist and resolve the clients IT system requirements within the agreed SLA’s
  • Provide customer service and manage accounts to retain a long term business partnership
  • You must provide high level of product knowledge to enable you to understand the companies value proposition, product range and service requirements
  • Training and certification will be mandatory as prescribed by the company

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • A+; N+ – MCP or MCSE or IT Diploma

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 5 Years working experience in a similar environment
  • Ability to be able to learn and update your IT knowledge
  • The ability to communicate effectively at the clients.
  • Maintain a corporate image
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to understand the client’s needs urgently to achieve optimum service
