Placements24 is seeking a diligent AI Security Analyst to join our security team in Mahikeng, North West. This onsite role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities in AI systems and applications, safeguarding models, data, and infrastructure from threats.

You will collaborate with AI researchers, engineers, and security professionals to implement robust controls, monitor systems, and respond to incidents, contributing to secure AI development and deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• Proven cybersecurity experience with focus on AI/ML security.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and security implications.
• Experience with security assessment tools.
• Proficiency in Python for automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of AI systems and ML models.
• Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities and threats specific to AI/ML applications.
• Develop and implement security controls for AI development and deployment.
• Monitor AI systems for security breaches and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Research emerging AI security threats and develop proactive defense strategies.
• Contribute to security awareness training for AI teams.
• Develop security policies and procedures related to AI systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends and AI technologies.
