About the Role

Our client is a leading provider of online academic support and is seeking experienced **Online Tutors** specializing in Mathematics and Physical Sciences. This is a remote position, ideal for educators looking for flexible working hours and the opportunity to positively impact students' academic journeys. You will deliver engaging and personalized tutoring sessions to students across various levels, helping them master complex concepts and improve their grades. This role is associated with Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA, but the work is entirely virtual.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality online tutoring in Mathematics and Physical Sciences (Physics & Chemistry) to students.
• Develop personalized learning plans based on student needs and academic goals.
• Utilize interactive online tools, whiteboards, and resources to deliver effective and engaging lessons.
• Explain complex concepts in a clear, concise, and accessible manner.
• Assess student understanding through questioning, problem-solving, and practice exercises.
• Offer constructive feedback and guidance to help students overcome challenges and build confidence.
• Maintain records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and performance.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding academic progress.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related scientific field. A teaching qualification is a strong asset.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching or tutoring Mathematics and/or Physical Sciences.
• Proven ability to explain complex scientific and mathematical concepts effectively.
• Experience with online tutoring platforms and virtual classroom environments.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
