Here at Penta Consulting, we provide technology resource solutions to leading OEMs in the EMEA region. We are working with our client in Johannesburg currently, and they are looking for a Onestream EPM Consultant to join their exciting team.

This is a hybrid role, and will be a 6 month extendable contract.

What you’ll be working on

• Lead end-to-end implementations, rollouts, and support for OneStream EPM Planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements, develop solutions, and execute the full project life cycle, including design, development, and delivery.
• Align business requirements with technology solutions to optimise performance, reporting, and financial data analysis.
• Develop technical specifications for recommended business processes, system design/configuration values/ reports, and system customisations
• Communicate timely status updates on assigned work and on-going activities
• Work collaboratively with the Practice Lead and other Consultants for any process improvements and solutions.

Key competencies required

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience working with EPM systems
• Degree or higher in Finance, Computer Science or Engineering
• Proven expertise in managing and implementing EPM - Budgeting, Planning, and forecasting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of finance modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), iExpense, and Cash Management.
• Strong financial process knowledge with a background in finance transformation and systems optimisation.
• Must show strong programming skillset on MS VB and or VB.Net technologies.
• Candidate will be an individual contributor with the ability to interact with a global team of functional leaders, business partners, technical experts and articulate how to best integrate EPM technologies to deliver superior business impact
• In depth experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
• Experience with EPM implementations including scoping requirements, designing, building, testing, training, and documentation
