Primary purpose of the job: Providing proper patient care as per GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Chemo mixing experience.
- Available for overtime and emergencies as requested with relevant remuneration.
- Assist with arranging locum when on leave or sick leave.
- Receiving and monitoring stock received against booking lists.
- Helping with review and order of booking list.
- Monitoring, selecting, and charging of consumables used per patient.
- Stock management and control.
- Replenishing consignment stock orders.
- Return and credit of medication.
- Working according to GPP and Medipost standards.
- Assisting with training and general patient wellness at Netcare practice.
- Adhering to OHS requirements.
- Adhering to twice-yearly medical surveillance requirements.
- Adhering to Medipost and relevant Netcare SOP's.
- Arranging equipment maintenance.
- Adhering to ISO standards for auditing purposes.

- MSDS updates per drug delivery.
- Chemo-specific compounding guidelines ad hoc for pharmacist with relevant SOP/Policy.

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12.
- Minimum 2 years as a pharmacist, including internship and community service.
- Need to be registered at SAPC.
- Sound knowledge of Pharmacy Act.
