Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking a Broadcast Technician to join our onboard broadcasting team. You will set up and maintain audio/video gear for live shipboard broadcasts, troubleshoot issues on site, and ensure smooth operation with the production team.

In this role you will monitor audio/video levels, manage equipment inventory, stay current with broadcasting tech trends, and help implement new systems while complying with maritime safety regulations. Travel and irregular hours are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Broadcast Technician.
Strong knowledge of audio and video equipment and systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and on-site support abilities.
Experience working in a live broadcast environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work irregular hours and travel.
Knowledge of maritime safety protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain all audio and video equipment for live broadcasts, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and control systems onboard the cruise ship.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site support during broadcasts.
Collaborate with production team to ensure smooth operation and execution of live broadcasts.
Monitor and adjust audio and video levels to maintain quality and consistency during live broadcasts.
Maintain and organize broadcast equipment inventory.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in broadcast technology.
Assist in the development and implementation of new broadcast systems and processes.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at sea.
