Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Information Security Auditor to join our established team in Centurion, Gauteng. You will plan, execute audits, identify control weaknesses, and provide actionable recommendations to improve security posture.

This on-site role offers a stable environment, exposure to regulatory requirements, and opportunities for professional growth through advanced training and certifications such as CISA/CISSP/CISM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, CS or related field.
• At least 4 years in information security, IT audit or related compliance role.
• Know-how of information security principles, risk frameworks and IT control objectives.
• Experience with audit tools and techniques including data analysis and evidence gathering.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP or CISM desirable.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and document internal information security audits.
• Evaluate effectiveness of security controls, policies and procedures.
• Identify and assess risks and vulnerabilities in information systems, networks and applications.
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings and remediation actions.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
• Stay current with evolving audit standards and cybersecurity best practices.
