Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Medical Doctor (General Practitioner) to manage an on-site employee health clinic in Soweto. You will provide primary healthcare, conduct consultations, and coordinate referrals.

The ideal candidate has MBChB, HPCSA GP registration, and at least 5 years in clinical practice, with strong diagnostic, communication, and patient management skills. Knowledge of occupational health is advantageous.

Qualifications

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree.
• Current HPCSA registration as General Practitioner.
• Minimum 5 years clinical practice experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and patient management abilities.
• Knowledge of occupational health principles advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Conduct general medical consultations for employees, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions.
• Provide primary healthcare services, including health screenings, vaccinations, and chronic disease management.
• Manage occupational health issues, including work-related injuries and illnesses, and advise on workplace safety.
• Develop and implement health promotion programs and wellness initiatives for employees.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records in accordance with professional standards.
• Liaise with external healthcare providers and specialists for referrals and follow-up care.
