You will optimize inventory, streamline warehousing and transportation, and manage key supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery and cost control. The role requires strong analytical acumen, leadership, and hands-on problem solving in a brick-and-mortar environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management, preferably FMCG.
• Experience in managing complex logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, and inventory control.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement data-driven solutions.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in SCM software and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, ZA, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure service level agreements are met.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to minimize stockouts and reduce excess inventory.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• Lead and develop a team of supply chain and logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and finance departments to forecast demand and align supply chain activities accordingly.
