Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail-facing roles.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and maintain professional relationships.
• Confidence in identifying customer needs and recommending solutions.
• Good administrative and recordkeeping skills.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to work with sales systems or MS Office tools.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple customer interactions.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Willingness to work on-site in Richards Bay.

Responsibilities

• Engage with new and existing customers in person, by phone, and through approved channels.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
• Generate sales opportunities and convert leads into successful sales.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
• Provide accurate information about products, pricing, availability, and service offerings.
• Prepare quotations, process orders, and support customers with general sales queries.
• Follow up on customer enquiries and sales leads in a timely and professional manner.
• Meet individual and team sales targets set by the business.
• Keep customer records and sales activity updated and accurate.
• Resolve basic customer concerns and elevate more complex issues when necessary.
