Placements24 is seeking an On-Site Cleaning Technician in Tembisa to maintain high standards of cleanliness in commercial and residential spaces. You will perform sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing, using floor polishers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers as needed.

The role requires independence and teamwork, with strict adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate has experience in cleaning services, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and good physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in cleaning services.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and maintenance of equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a cleaning environment.
• Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established protocols.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in designated areas, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning rounds.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure that all cleaning stations are adequately stocked.
